Custom Corporate Apparel Specialists – Polos, Dress Shirts, Outwear and more!

There has been an explosion of semi-professional artists who are looking to make a modest to not-so-modest income from their creative work. In Orlando and its surrounding areas, we have a vibrant and active community of artists, and the wealth of talent is amazing! The challenge is for artists to get noticed among the crowd.

Most serious artists are familiar with traditional forms of promotion such as fliers, posters, and business cards. Increasingly, artists are taking advantage of online marketing tools such as Facebook, DeviantArt, and Etsy. A survey of local art walks and art shows has seen this great little trend: original t-shirts made with screen-printing and direct-to-garment printing. Featuring artwork, social media addresses, and artsy business messaging, everyday t-shirts become walking, talking representations of an artist’s best work.

But what is the best way to highlight your work on apparel?

What image(s) represents you?

Choose or create a powerful image. Find one that really brings out the essence of what you do and is truly representative of your work.

You don’t need to use a whole picture: often a single figure or part of an image can be more effective.

You are your best evangelist

No one has as much passion for your work. No one’s eyes will twinkle as much as yours when you talk about the art that you create.

But is a t-shirt the best approach? Obviously, it depends on the type of artwork you do. If you specialize in dark subjects or nudes, perhaps it may not be appropriate to have these on public display (unless that’s your thing). If you regularly participate in art walks or other public showings, you can turn your torso into a walking billboard of your artwork any time you step out of your booth or tent.

For many whose art is their life, we understand why you would want to wear your love on your sleeve. Or have t-shirts available for anyone else who may fall in love with your work.
